School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China
The School of Pharmaceutical Sciences is actively seeking candidates for tenure track faculty positions at all levels. We seek outstanding individuals to develop and conduct innovative basic and/or translational research in areas of including but not limited to 1) quantitative molecular and systems pharmacology, pharmacogenomics, drug development sciences, and therapeutic engineering; 2) developing enabling technologies for target identification and validation, disease modeling, functional genomics, imaging, computational modeling and informatics, design and engineering of genome/proteins/cells/tissues, formulation and delivery; 3) understanding and targeting diseases such as cancer, neurological disease, cardiovascular and metabolic disease, and immune disorder.
Requirements
Candidates are expected to hold a Ph.D. degree, or equivalent, and to have demonstrated significant potential in their fields. The successful candidates will be expected to establish a dynamic research program and excel at teaching in both undergraduate and graduate courses. Stemmed from Tsinghua University’s strong foundation in biomedical related disciplines, including life science, basic medical science, chemistry, biomedical engineering, chemical engineering and material science, the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences was established in 2015. We aim to focus on cutting-edge research and education in pharmaceutical sciences, and strive to integrate basic and translational research disciplines.
